Other portraits and various subjects

In some sense, I work in series, or at least I get some satisfaction in grouping paintings together, hoping that they will tell a larger story as a whole. The truth is, there is not a bright line between where one series ends and another begins, and if we zoom out far enough, I think it would look more like a venn diagram and less like a group of lists, with some paintings perhaps having a claim in several of those overlapping circles, while others fall outside of them entirely. And so, here are the ones that don’t quite fit.
